Weekly Updates - Meta/IG

1. Photo re-prioritization: As a result of continued negative user feedback regarding less/throttled reach, IG has stopped prioritizing reels content and is shifting its use of AI once again to recommend more relevant content to users. As of now, both photo and video engagement are suffering for many users.

2. Reels bonus ending: Following its trial of the Reels Play program, Meta is cutting its reels bonuses program for Instagram & Facebook reels.

3. Meta is working on a decentralized social media app like Twitter - no word as of yet, platform is supposedly to be an Instagram, conversation-focused counterpart.

1. Tiktok launched “Series” a new feature that allows creators to charge for premium content.

1. Microsoft launches ChatGPT4, utilize this AI platform to help you develop engaging captions, increase your knowledge of an industry topic or build content.
